As the Texans won the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Owens made his much-awaited debut. With A.J. Moore and Terrence Brooks out because of Covid-19 restrictions, Owens seized the opportunity to play in his first game. Likewise, Justin Reid missed out on the game because of a concussion. Hence, the safety made his debut and Biles couldn’t contain her excitement.

Cherishing the moment, Owen too took to Twitter, celebrating, but reminding everyone how hard he has worked to achieve his first start. He wrote, “All it took was dedication and some motivation, this ain’t happen overnight, I was being patient.”

Owens makes his debut
Playing for the team has always been his dream, as he mentioned how hard he worked for this moment. Now, Jonathan spoke about the opportunity and how excited he was.
“I prepare every week as if I am going to go out there and play. Whenever the coaches do call my number and give me a more impactful role for team, I’m always prepared. Excited for the challenge and whatever they asked me to do, I’m ready to do it,” said Owens.
