As the Texans won the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Owens made his much-awaited debut. With A.J. Moore and Terrence Brooks out because of Covid-19 restrictions, Owens seized the opportunity to play in his first game. Likewise, Justin Reid missed out on the game because of a concussion. Cherishing the moment, Owen too took to Twitter, celebrating, but reminding everyone how hard he has worked to achieve his first start. He wrote, “All it took was dedication and some motivation, this ain’t happen overnight, I was being patient.”
