America’s sweetheart, Suni Lee, has emerged as one of the best gymnasts in the sport right now. Taking strides in her professional life, her personal life, too, has been quite flourishing. As they made it official in December 2021, Suni is dating a football player named Jaylin Smith.

Following her successful stint on the reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars’, the gymnast is now enjoying a much-needed break. Surely, having Smith by her side is another purple patch for the bubbly gymnast. So what do we know more about Smith?

Who is Jaylin Smith?

The capable football player plays for the USC Trojans as he studies at the University of California. Before this, he had stints as a cornerback, wide receiver, and running back at Bishop Alemany High in Mansion Hills. Moreover, Smith’s connection with rapper Snoop Dogg is well understood.

The duo appeared on screen together on Snoop’s show on Netflix- ‘Coach Snoop’. He has 46.6k followers on Instagram while putting up 17 posts. Most of his posts comprise his training and pictures from his football career.

The talented Suni Lee appeared in the Dancing With the Stars competition after her success at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The duo posted a picture together on Instagram on December 27, 2021. She posted a heart emoticon as the title of the picture while Smith replied with a comment “Twin🤞🏾❤️.” Their relationship appears to be bubbling as they continue to enjoy each other’s company.

Suni Lee is enjoying life

Remarkably, Suni won a gold, silver, and bronze medal during the Olympic Games. As Biles withdrew from the gymnastics competition, Lee stepped up to the plate and put on an accomplished performance to bring home the medals. After that, she appeared in the Dancing With the Stars competition but was ultimately knocked out.

With her new boyfriend by the side, Suni looks happy. While they remain happy together, here’s hoping Jaylin can convince Suni to make a quickfire return to her natural habitat so we can witness her brilliance again.
