Sofie Dossi Gives Fans a Major Update

Sofie took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a schedule with her fans online. Posting a story on her profile, shared that she would be appearing on America’s Got Talent, a place where it all started for the contortionist. Sharing an image of her performing back at the AGT, Sofie wrote, “I’m guest performing on America’s Got Talent Wednesday the 20th!! Tune into @/nbc to check it out.”

America’s Got Talent was a prominent stage in Sofie’s career. The star also received the golden buzzer and steadily made her way into the finals. But unfortunately, Sofie wasn’t able to make it to the top 5. However, top 5 or not, the platform was a start for Sofie, and getting to be back there comes as exciting news for both the fans and the artist.

A Journey Back to AGT

Sofie Dossi was 12 when she was captivated by the performance of a contortionist online. Having had the basics of a gymnast and a dancer, Sofie became a teacher for herself opening doors to opportunities. She was then hired by agencies to perform at larger events. Making her way from there, Dossi landed at America’s Got Talent.

Sofie’s golden buzzer at the show wasn’t all for nothing. the contortionist put brilliant performances one after the other impressing the audience. Her audition performance included the popular, shooting of a bow, and arrow while doing a headstand. For the quarter-finals, Sofie shot a flaming arrow with her legs while performing a headstand again on two canes. This performance of hers landed Sofie a golden buzzer. The artist also performed a complex trick of hanging on a hoop by her neck for the semi-finals receiving a standing ovation. And for the finals, Sofie was back again on the cane with one hand. Though her performances were impressive, Sofie couldn’t move ahead.

But Sofie’s final performance at the AGT wasn’t in 2016. The contortionist appeared on the stage again for The Champions and back again in 2019 as a guest performer. Sofie’s will to show something innovative to the guests every performance makes her stages special. Now with her recent update, the fans’ eager buzz fills up the air.
