In her latest Instagram story, Simone Biles shared a picture of her best friend and teammate, Zoe Miller. In the picture, Miller wore a peachy fur bathrobe and matching slippers, comfortably seated in a foldable director’s chair on set. Biles, miles away from her, wrote in the caption, “Thankful for you, my lil baby daughter, twin Zoe Miller,? with a laughing and white heart emoji. The special love Biles shares for her WCC teammate was not just one-sided, as Miller too sent her ?mom? a wholesome wish of gratitude.
The 2023 Pan American uneven bars gold medalist, Miller, took to her own Instagram stories, treating followers to a throwback from Biles? bridal shower. They posed happily against a backdrop of white balloons, with Simone Biles stunning in a fitting white gown and Miller, in sync with the blue and white theme, wearing a floral summer top paired with jeans. Miller wrote in her story, “Thankful, thankful, thankful for my big sister, mom twin,? with two white heart emojis. Despite the age difference of nearly 8 years between them, they have captured the hearts of gymnastics fans with their friendship.
A friendship that goes way back
The wholesome bond between Simone Biles and Zoe Miller goes way back. It all started at the WCC training center in Houston, Texas, owned by Biles’ parents, where Miller first joined at the tender age of nine. In 2021, at the US Gymnastics Championships, their bond was showcased as Simone was seen fixing Zoe?s hair.
Biles has even referred to Miller saying, ?This is mini-me,“ showing the special nature of their friendship. Their bond has only deepened with time, and the two are often spotted together, laughing and causing mischief with their delightful shenanigans.
