Jackie Chan once taught Jaycee an important lesson about money

In his autobiography, Never Grow Up, the Karate Kid actor logged every nook and cranny of his life. He descriptively wrote about each and every important incident that took place since his childhood. One of these was an anecdote about his son. The incident took place when the father and son were traveling together on an airplane. While Chan booked a first-class cabin for himself, he booked the economy seat for his son.

Explaining the seat bookings, Jackie told Jaycee, “you have no money now, so you sit here”. However, the stewardess upgraded Chan’s son to first class since there was a vacant seat next to the actor. As per Chan, Jaycee got a free upgrade for every trip after that. He once told his father, “I got another upgrade. I don’t need money”.
