Max Scherzer and Gerrit Cole Could Lose This Insane Amount Daily Due to MLB Lockout

The ongoing owners’ lockout in Major League Baseball is close to completing its three-month duration in the next week. Even now, there is no agreement between the owners and the player’s association. And if the two parties do not find a solution at the earliest, then not only the owners, but some of the top players might lose a sizeable amount of money from their purse.
Notably, if the regular season does not start on its slated schedule because of the lockout, then the league might lose a number of games. This scenario will not be beneficial for either the owners or players. And with this, some highly paid players like Max Scherzer and Gerrit Cole will lose their salaries.

Max Scherzer and Gerrit Cole to lose approximately $200,000 daily?
There is no denying that not only the owners but also the players’ association are in a hurry to close the agreement as soon as possible. Because everyone wants games to be played in the ballparks without losing any league games.
But if the players’ association does not agree to the new collective bargaining agreement with the owners, then some of the top players, including Max Scherzer, Gerrit Cole, and Francisco Lindor, will lose their daily salaries.
