Even after being the most successful team in the history of Major League Baseball, the New York Yankees have not won a single World Series in the last 12 years. And if they do not get their core team back before the regular season starts, then this season will also not be any different.
The Yankees’ general manager, Brian Cashman, is still trying to figure out the squad for the upcoming season. Currently, the Yankees are on a hunt for a good shortstop. And if reports are true, then Trevor Story might be an option to solve the problems of the Yankees. But even if Story agrees to join the Yankees, all might not be well in the squad.

As per NJ.Com, the Yankees are not looking for a long-term solution for their shortstop position. In Anthony Volpe and Oswald Peraza, the Yankees already have a couple of good shortstop prospects. And when the time will come, they will play them in the major league for the Yankees.
