“I Think It’s Going to Pay Off”- 2019 Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry Aims to Dethrone Big Ramy for the Ultimate Prize in Bodybuilding

One more day to go for the biggest bodybuilding event of the year. Following the tradition, Las Vegas is all decked up to host Mr. Olympia 2022. As competitors flock to the venue to clinch the title, fans have their eyes fixed on reigning champion Big Ramy and former champion Brandon Curry. As the two look impeccable in their preparation, the competition will undeniably be stiff. Leaving no stone unturned, Curry, the 2019 Mr. Olympia champion, is all set to clinch his title back. Sending off a warning to Big Ramy, Curry looked confident at the press meet.

Though the 2022 Olympia is yet to commence officially, the stage has already been set through the opening act. As the All IFBB Pro League divisions meet for the press conference, the limelight of this year’s meet was taken away by the competitors in the Men’s Open.

Brandon Curry hinted at dethroning the defending Mr. Olympia champion 

Gracing the stage for the press conference was two-time Mr. Olympia champion Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, 2019 Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry, and two-time People’s Choice winner Hadi Choopan. As the three musketeers channeled confidence, Curry stepped in to remark that this year’s competition would be different owing to one factor.

Showing his confident self, the former champion commented, “I was able to put more time in this year, and I think it’s going to pay off.” His words were direct for fellow competitor Big Ramy. For those unversed, the two giants are set to lock horns in the open category of the Mr. Olympia 2022 competition. With a 48″ chest, 21″ arms, and 34″ waist, Curry looked impressive and confident ahead of the big event.

However, it’s not just Brandon who is passionately working towards claiming the title. Even his biggest competitor, Big Ramy, looks in no mood to give him space on the stage. The Egyptian bodybuilder who is eyeing his third win has long back sent his warnings.

Big Ramy is “sharpening his weapons” ahead of the competition 

Way ahead of the competition, the 5’9″ IFBB pro champion has already declared, “I’m sharpening my weapons to defend my title in Las Vegas!” Last week, the reigning champion shared a workout video where he was seen working on his biceps the ones that he described to as his “weapons.”

Big Ramy is all set to defeat his competitors upfront with his monstrous 54″ chest, 24″ arms, and 36″ waist. He looks well-prepared and confident.
