The NFL 2023 season has been going with a bang with some shocking wins and losses having taken place. On Monday Night Football game, The Dallas Cowboys emerged victorious against the Los Angeles Chargers with a 17-20 score. But with all the excitement, someone, none other than Stephen A. Smith has always “hated” the Dallas Cowboys. With a strong take like his, the Cowboy fans sure would like some answers this time.

As a host of ESPN’s show, ‘First Take,’ Smith sure likes to share his honest opinions about NFL games, athletes, and even pop culture news. But if there’s one thing that doesn’t change, it’s that Smith can’t “can’t stand a Cowboy fan.” He makes sure to shred the Cowboys fans to pieces at every chance he gets. This time, as he appeared live at the stadium, the reason why hates them so much might have been revealed by Smith himself. Turns out it’s a blast from the past.

It all happened live at the SoFi Stadium when the truth had been unfolded hilariously. As the Cowboys faced the Chargers, Stephen A. Smith joined Marcus Spears. Spears as a Dallas Cowboy turned ESPN analyst, made sure to ask Smith about his hatred towards the Cowboy fanbase. The incident was hilarious as Smiths’ answer to his hatred of the Cowboys was his lady friends.

A Twitter profile shared the clip of the conversation that took place and the post was captioned “Finally!!! After years of Stephen A Smith trolling Cowboys fans, Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark finally learn why! Spoiler: It involves women Stephen A dated. Too funny.”

Marcus asked, “What happened…what went down this long history of disdain for Dallas Cowboy? what was the moment that all of this took place to make you like this? I don’t know how we friends, I really don’t know how we friends cuz you disrespect our fan base more than anybody” Smith’s reply had all the other hosts burst out laughing.

Smith said, “They just annoy me, they just annoy me, I’m not gonna lie, you know, I had ladies friends, you know they were Cowboy fans!” As Smith revealed this notorious backstory, one of the hosts added, “We have finally gotten to the bottom of this! Listen, they were the glory days!” But what did Smith say about the Cowboys fanbase in the first place?

Smith’s podcast, ‘The Stephen A. Smith Show’ is one place where Smith doesn’t hold back from giving his take. Not long ago, he took to the podcast to explain how much he hates the Dallas Cowboys fans. Smith said, “I do consider the Dallas Cowboys fan base to be the most disgusting fan base in American history. I can’t stand a Cowboy fan.”

His statement was with reference to the Sunday Night game when the Cowboys were defeated by The San Francisco 49ers with a 42-10 score. Adding more, he said, “The bottom line is this: I do like seeing Cowboy fans miserable. I do think they’re delusional… I do think they’re nauseating and disgusting.”

With Smith revealing the funny reason for his detestation and the Dallas Cowboys emerging victorious against the Chargers, one can expect some praise from Smith for the Cowboys in the future.
