The captain of the Edmonton Oilers has turned into a goal machine. The man just recorded his fifth consecutive game where he scored more than one goal. Also, it doesn’t seem like he is going to stop anytime soon. His dexterity in the rink has led some people to compare him to the greats of the NHL.

Connor McDavid gets compared to Lemieux

After witnessing the prowess showcased by McDavid on the ice, Craig Button, the NHL analyst, compared him to Lemieux. When TSN shared the same on their Facebook profile, many fans came forward to praise the skills of the ‘Canadian Super Promise’.

A Rangers fan commented, “I’m a Rangers fan but absolutely LOVE watching this kid play. Generational talent and a human cheat code. Edmonton better not waste this talent. Hope he wins a Cup, but I hope my Rangers get there first.”

In one of his goals, it appears as if the puck was moving so fast that other players could not even see it, let alone stop it. And the way McDavid scored stunned Button.
