People nowadays found a way to acquaint themselves with new friends through internet dating. The concept of meeting online took a great swing in the last decade. However, Wayne Gretzky’s daughter doesn’t favor the idea of meeting people anonymously.

In 2012, Paulina Gretzky revealed her perspective on building relationships online. She rather had an interesting take on internet dating and how the entire concept didn’t bode well with her.

Over a decade ago, Paulina Gretzky appeared in an interview with Complex, where she profoundly chatted about every nook and cranny of her personal and professional fronts. At one point, the host curiously asked Paulina about her dating life and her take on meeting people online. On this, Paulina said, “I can’t meet people on the Internet. It’s just not real. I can’t connect”.

Moreover, the actress shared her views on reaching out to celebrities on social media. “The only reason I would actually respond to a celebrity more so than someone that I didn’t know, is because I know who’s behind the screen”, added Paulina.
However, the actress did want to talk and reach more people through the internet but “[the anonymity of the Internet] scares me a bit”, disclosed Paulina. Clearly, Paulina doesn’t side with the inconspicuousness that online dating brings to the table.
How Paulina met Dustin Johnson?
The first meeting of the pair was rather traditional. The model’s mother paired up the two at the Pro-Am event in 2009. However, Paulina and Dustin didn’t start dating right away. However, in the year 2012, the actress and the golfer met again and made their relationship status official. Moreover, they got engaged a year later. After a decade-long engagement, the power couple finally tied the knot earlier this year.
