Brandi and Noah Cyrus are siblings to American rockstar Miley Cyrus and daughters to Achy Breaky Heart songster Billy Ray Cyrus. Born to Tish Finley Cyrus, Brandi was adopted by Billy after his marriage to Tish. While Brandi likes to keep herself occupied by hosting podcasts, blogging, and DJing, her passion for horse riding is never-ending.

She credits her father for introducing her to horse riding when she was just six. She even started a pony club and this marked the beginning of Brandi’s equestrian career. In a 2021 interview, Brandi believed equestrian to be one reason that helped Brandi and Noah bond over their love for horses.

Cyrus sisters made some fond memories while playing Equestrian

As interviewed by Horse&Hound, Brandi credited Noah for introducing her to showjumping! “ I have my youngest sister, Noah, to thank for that,” she said. While the Cyrus family was residing in California, Noah wanted to learn horse riding. Their mother took Noah to a trainer and she started her jumper/hunter classes. “I started going with her because I was knowledgeable about horses,” Brandi recollected. The trainer was kind enough to offer Brandi a ride and she started horse riding again!

Noah inclined toward the hunter side of the sport and began riding under Jenny Karazissis at Far West Farms, while Brandi trained with Kost Karazissis and found it to be fun! Brandi excelled and became one of the equestrians to be featured in the start-lists at Ocala’s World equestrian Centre in early 2021.

But what she fondly remembers of her equestrian days in California is her bonding with Noah! The siblings have an age gap of 12 years and the sport helped them to connect. Brandi says, “Noah and I showed on the West Coast circuit together for about four years. We weren’t super close growing up because of the age gap, so showing really brought us together. We made such great memories.”

Brandi Cyrus’s unflinching love for her sisters

Back in 2019, Brandy was quick to share her thoughts on her sister Miley Cyrus’s divorce from Liam Hemsworth. “And in time everything will make sense, and all of that purpose will be revealed when the time is right, and we will be stronger and better for it.” These were the words of advice for her younger sister during her hard time.

Defending Miley Cyrus pictures with Kaitlynn Carter, she once stated in her podcast Your Favorite Thing with Wells Adams, “There’s nothing I can really say. I just, I’m here for her, obviously, and I’ve been spending a lot of time with her. When she’s ready to talk about it or whatever, then she will.” while speaking about Miley Cyrus!
