On 28th June, ace gymnast Simone Biles made a splash among her fandom by sharing the news of her comeback. The gymnastics queen is all girded up to return to her beloved arena in August with US Classic Championships. Though her fans are excited, there is one thing that the Olympian is concerned about – making an ample amount of time to attend husband Jonathan Owens’ matches in the upcoming NFL playoffs.

After signing an opulent deal with Green Bay Packers, the NFL safety often resides in Wisconsin for work commitments. And now with NFL season approaching, the Green Bay Packers defensive line is preparing to clinch this year’s Vince Lombardi trophy. However, with her ongoing practice sessions and stringent training montage, Simone Biles is in a dilemma of how she’ll manage to take some time off her schedule to cheer for her husband.

Biles recently invited her followers to ask her any questions they had in a “Ask me anything” Instagram story. A person asked Simone Biles, “How many Packers games will you be at?”

Her response reflected the challenges they encounter as a couple. Simone Biles replied, “I’m going to go to as many as my schedule allows.” She added a finger-crossed emoji along with a heart and further elaborated on the reasons.

Simone Biles shared her concerns, hinting at the challenges she faces as she tries to balance her own commitments with supporting Jonathan’s new team. She continued, “We were actually trying to figure this out yesterday. Green Bay is tough bc there are no direct flights for us. I’m also afraid of the open dome / cold weather.” After all, Biles will be participating in upcoming gymnastics events starting with the much-awaited U.S. Classic in August.

The upcoming road to Gymnastics and NFL

Simone Biles’s first competition since the Tokyo Olympics will be the US Classic on August 5, 2023. She has developed into a proponent for athletes’ general well-being after taking time off to put her mental health first. Despite the massive update of her return, the usual chirpy Simone finally broke her silence with a tweet.

In her first public statement on her return to competition, Biles recently tweeted, “sorry I’ve been a little MIA since the announcement 🤍 I’m overwhelmed with all of your messages, support & love! excited to get back out on the competition floor! XOXO 🫶🏾”
