Lindsey Vonn feels ‘no one can beat that’
A sports person knows how sports works. They may not know how to play every sport, but they do know how things work. Similarly, a great Alpine skier knew the potential powerhouse the legendary tennis player possessed. In 2017, Vonn disclosed Roger Federer is the greatest tennis player and her inspiration as well.

While she was asked, “If Roger Federer will give us another Grand Slam, or is that it? And what do you think about his career?” She replied, “He is amazing. He is my hero. I’m very inspired by him.” She further said, “Because he is the greatest of all time. That’s just what happens. Coz no one can beat that,” when she was asked about the reason for his domination.

The legacy of Vonn
Lindsey Vonn started skiing at the age of three when her father took her there. Her father was always a huge inspiration for her. She debuted in 2002 in her first Olympics at Salt Lake City. However, she won her first Olympic medal at the 2010 Olympics and created history.

Moreover, she ended her career with a bronze medal in the 2019 Winter Olympics. She dominated women’s skiing in her career and recorded some great records to prove that. Vonn conquered 82 world cup victories, 18 victories on the same course (Lake Louise). Moreover, she has 20 Crystal Globes and 43 downhill victories.

Lindsey Vonn is the most successful alpine skier in the US. Just like many of the players around the globe in various sports, she also took inspiration from the G.O.A.T., Roger Federer. However, he retired in September 2022. Federer left a legacy and a tale for the lifetime of billions of people, as did Lindsey Vonn with her career.
