Before getting on the slopes of Olimpia delle Tofane, on the 26th, Mikaela Shiffrin had expressed the fear they presented. I love it here…although yesterday was a little bit of a shock to the system being back on DH skis, and I had a couple “scary” moments on the course,” she wrote on Instagram. To the tricks of fate, the champion lost control, colliding with the nets around the following day. The incident left Shiffrin with a left leg injury and a couple of days away from the tracks. “Till we see you back on skis, rest up @mikaelashiffrin, Adidas Terrex wrote in an Instagram story shared by Shiffrin.
