The alpine skiing queen, Mikaela Shiffrin, and the Norwegian Alpine skier Aleksander Aamodt Kilde have been in a romantic relationship since early 2021. Since then, the couple is often seen spending quality time in each other’s hometowns. In an interview with the Olympics, Kilde said that seeing the hard work put in by Mikaela Shiffrin makes him want to do even better. In another interview with Ski Racing, Mikaela demonstrated her plans about Colorado and going to Taylor Swift’s concert with her alpine skier partner. On 10th July 2023, Kilde posted some pictures from their trip to Lakeside. Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Kilde were seen enjoying a yacht ride on the lake, long drives, and the light rain. Kilde wrote “LAKE LIFE” in the caption. 

On June 2023, Kilde expressed his thoughts about their relationship and told Ski Racing, “She comes to Norway, and I go there (to Colorado), and that’s something that we need to keep doing.” The duo also thoroughly supported each other throughout the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. In an exclusive chat with the Olympics, Kilde said that he always feels a little better and plus one when he is around Mikaela. Their charming relationship has been a favorite topic for fans, and the recent social media post just cheered them up.

Kilde’s social media post about the couple’s quality time has gladdened the whole internet. In one of the pictures, Kilde is seen holding a small jolly umbrella in the rain, which has received some hilarious comments. One wrote, “The umbrella for the win,” another user said, “Last picture with an umbrella is a classic!!!” The post also received comments like, “The most beautiful and the best ones! Enjoy!” and “So glad to see you both relaxing and so happy together!!” A ski fan expressed his feelings and said, “Mika, Aleksander, you are a sensational couple.”
