However, the American superstar lost her 86th championship as she stood 2nd in today’s slalom race. Shiffrin has already asserted her supremacy in the alpine skiing arena by winning four world cup championships in just one month. First in Slovenia and Italy and then in the Czech Republic, the American superstar staked her claim on giant slaloms and won the four races back to back like ticking the miles on the road. 82. 83. 84. 85. Howbeit, the 27-year-old’s winning spree was intervened by the time difference of 0.06 seconds, and she lost her 86th victory to Lena Duerr. Moreover, as Shiffrin’s compatriot, Paula Moltzan made it to the top 10 in the list, the US ski team congratulated Moltzan and wrote, “Plus another win for @paulamoltzan.”
