Participating in a parent race on children’s sports day is a wonderful thing. But when the parent is three-time Olympic gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, nothing much can be left up to the imagination.?

Athletics Weekly recently uploaded a video on Twitter showing the 36-year-old mother competing in the parent’s race. The parents out there got an incredible opportunity to share the track with the athletic legend. Zyon, her son, must be so proud!

All hailed the star mother and track legend, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a world champion with numerous achievements, including 8x Olympic medals, 5x Diamond League Final Winner, 10x World Champion, to name a few. And naturally, when such a legendary athlete participates in a parent’s race in a school, it can only go one way. Shelly-Ann ran leaps and bounds ahead of her fellow competitors. As Athletic Weekly displayed the story through Twitter, they wrote, “Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce decided to take part in the parent race at her son’s Sports Day. It was only ever going to go one way…”

The 36-year-old sprinter cruised along the track and finished the race in no time. However, she might not have run at her top speed, but her moderate sprint was powerful enough to rush her to victory. The other parents were left far behind her, with almost a fair distance to cover when she crossed the finish line. However, a couple of weeks from now, this won’t be the case.?
