Former professional IFBB bodybuilder Peter Putnam was quite a highlight in the bodybuilding world. The 46-year-old won several bodybuilding titles when he started his career. However, after a stage, Peter quit from participating in competitions. However, he continued training rigorously to maintain his \physique. At one point, his training was obstructed by severe pain that he shared in a recent video.

As stated, Peter has won several bodybuilding titles. He won the 2004 NPC Collegiate Nationals Champion. Moreover, in 2007, he was crowned NPC USA’s Light-heavyweight Champion. Also, the bodybuilder claimed the NPC Nationals Light-heavyweight Champion title in 2008.

Why did Peter Putnam experience severe pain?

During his bodybuilding years, Peter was growing in popularity, as he won several prestigious titles and recognitions. He was also on the cover of many popular magazines. Peter had a huge fan base as well. He lived the fame of a true bodybuilder. After some time, he walked away from professional bodybuilding. Although Peter distanced himself from participating in competitions, he continued high-level training. He loved training with heavy weights.

Gradually, he began to feel pain in his shoulders. Every day, the pain became worse. At times, he would have to avoid training his shoulders. Within a year, his shoulder pain impacted his daily activities. It started to bother Peter acutely. He was scared about his shoulder pain affecting his training process. Each day, Peter would pray for his shoulder pain to lessen.

Things worked out for Peter on one fine day when he followed the prayers repeated in the 700 Club. Gordon Robertson, the CEO of Christian Broadcasting Network, was about to chant his words of knowledge. In a recent interview with 700 Club Interactive, Peter explained what he did next. He stated :

So I decided in that moment to do something I’d never done before which was to just join in agreement and pray along with Gordon and as I put my left hand on my shoulder. In that moment, I felt the holy spirit just come all over me and I knew I was being healed and I just began to praise God and said I received this healing.”

After that day, Peter, reportedly, was able to do everything he wanted. According to him, his excruciating shoulder pain vanished, and he could do weight training like nothing ever happened.

What is Putnam doing now?

The ex-bodybuilder is currently a singing artist. On his Instagram page, the former IFBB Pro keeps sharing his recording videos.

Moreover, he has recently recorded an album. Peter has not announced the release the date of his album, but he will soon do it.
