Owing to the fancy and lavish preparations, Jennifer and Egyptian-American equestrian Nassar reminisced about the dreamy wedding. The 2021 interview, recited all the minutes from the posh affair. Here’s what it unraveled.
Jennifer Gates and Nayel Nassar put a ring to it amid dire times
As per Vogue, the couple eventually hit it off after getting acquainted in the equestrian community. Moreover, both graduated from Stanford University. After their engagement in 2020, their official wedding dates surfaced the following year. Jennifer and Nayel organized the whole wedding together and got married on October 16. She found her dream dress with iconic designer, Vera Wang’s Haute line. “Planning a wedding while I was in medical school rotations and Nayel was preparing for the Olympics was no small feat,” Jennifer revealed.
“But it was so worth it to share such a special day with those closest to us.”, the then 24-year-old added. Speaking of the pandemic guidelines, the couple made sure the event complied with them. A complete vaccination and a recent negative test result were mandatory for the attendees. Thus, Jennifer admitted, “We feel so grateful for everyone involved who kept us on track and helped make our vision come to life…incredibly fortunate to be able to gather with our loved ones safely.”

After their vows, the couple danced off to a special song by their friend, Harry Hudson. Unfortunately, months ahead of their wedding, Jennifer’s parents, Bill and Melinda Gates divorced. However, that didn’t interfere with her special day. “Being able to celebrate our wedding with our closest friends and family was a dream come true,” she asserted.
