Mark Zahra has tasted success year after year and still can’t get enough. He, however, was struck with a hard choice as to which horse to choose. Zahra won the Melbourne Cup last year, riding Gold Trip. But this time, the veteran Australian chose to go with the in-form Without a Fight, and it paid off eventually.

Without a Fight and Zahra combined perfectly, handing both historic victories. Zahra sprinted Without a Fight, leaving everyone behind. Without a Fight rode so well that Zahra was able to celebrate a few seconds even before the race finished. Speaking with Sky Sports, the 41-year-old jockey expressed his pure joy after the win. “It’s amazing to do it once but to do it again on a different horse, back-to-back, my feet haven’t touched the ground yet.”, Zahra explained.
