The post featured a photo of Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade, highlighting Andrade’s eagerness for an Olympic gymnastics showdown with Biles. The moment was Andrade’s victory in the vault event, where she edged out Biles, who faced a fall, to win her second world title in the vault.

The Brazilian earned 14.750 for the gold, while Simone took the silver with a score of 14.549. Andrade’s desire to face off with Simone once again was highlighted on her recent interview with Agence France-Presse (AFP), where she also expressed her respect for Biles. “It’s about doing my best. And I hope she (Biles) does too, that she does her best, because it’s an honour to be able to compete alongside her,” Andrade, who secured her first World title in the event in 2021, elevating Brazil’s name in the world of gymnastics, said.

Despite their on-mat rivalry, Andrade and Biles share a cordial and respectful relationship. At the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade once again stood together on the podium.
