Zoe Miller and Simone Biles embarked on distinct journeys at the XFinity 2023 Gymnastics Championship. While Biles clinched her eighth title and a spot in the US Nationals, Miller’s path took a different turn.? However, now, as the competition unfolds in Katy, Zoe Miller with 14.500 (6.4, 8.100) and Jordan Chiles with 14.200 (5.9, 8.300) led in the first rotation. In her opening statement for the night, Miller’s performance went viral, and with this, she trounced Biles in the first event.

As the event progressed on day-1, the standings reveal enticing scores. While Chiles and Miller took the reins on the scoreboard, Biles faced a ‘fall’ in her first event while performing Maloney, where gymnasts put their toes on the low bar, and use upward momentum to fly up to the high bar and catch it.

Interestingly, Zoe Miller shined brightly on the uneven bars in a blue leotard as she showed her exceptional skills. She performed a handstand before the van Leeuwen, before her double layout. And made an exceptional landing.

Biles’ score at the end of rotation 1 read as 12.800 (5.6, 7.200). Nevertheless, as the event progressed the scores showed a surprising turn of events for Biles and Miller.

Though Biles trailed behind Miller by 1.7 points after the first rotation, she gave a staunch performance to bring a surge in her rotation-2 score. Hence, following the beam event, Biles stood with the score of 14.050.
