The ceremony was a private one, only so that the sports power couple would be ‘legally wedded’ before they went all out for a scrumptious destination wedding. A lot of buzz has been created around their ‘actual’ wedding ceremony.

Fans have eagerly awaited the day when they will get to witness glimpses of the luxurious destination wedding that Simone Biles has teased everyone about. Now, that day has finally come. The couple’s wedding ceremony was, of course, going to be a real-life fairytale, with Biles as the center of attraction with her Princess-like wedding dress. Simone Biles did not disappoint her audience in that regard, not at all.

For her courthouse wedding, Biles chose to wear a plunging white dress with four tiers of ruffles which she revealed was from an online boutique called Selfie Leslie.

She kept her wardrobe for the courthouse nuptials simple, her dress was for $120 and her shows were a pair of PrettyLittleThing Wide-Fit Sandals for $35 (originally $58). Simone Biles might not have been as prepared for her courthouse wedding, but for her destination wedding, she left no stone unturned when it came to the bridal dress. Biles hit up the Los Angeles atelier Galia Lahav to browse her wedding dress. Any Biles or Lahav followers would already know that Simone Biles had selected a Gali Lahav design as her nuptial wardrobe.

Galia Lahav, the Israeli bridal designer, is known for elaborate and elegant wedding gown designs, with subtle tones and gorgeous bead, lace, or cut-out work. The gymnast and seven-time Olympic medalist chose not one, but two wedding dresses from Galia Lahav. Her wedding gowns were picked to harmoniously match with the stunning engagement ring from Houston jeweler Zo Frost which was personally picked by Jonathan Owens. Simone Biles is not the first celebrity to put their trust in the gorgeous designs of Galia Lahav.

The Galia Lahav House of Couture has established itself as one of the leading couture fashion houses, and many famous stars have been frequently seen donning their designs.
