In a thrilling showdown against the LSU Tigers on February 23, Wong reached new heights, achieving an awe-inspiring all-around score of 39.875, the highest in the nation. Taking to Instagram, Leanne Wong shared a celebratory five-image carousel post from the LSU vs. Gators meet, expressing, “My team & Gator Nation makes these moments even more special!” She even shared incredible news, stating, “honored to be the 15th NCAA gymnast to earn a GYM SLAM” signifying her achievement of a perfect 10.0 score in all four gymnastics apparatuses during her collegiate career.

The accolades for Leanne Wong continue as she, alongside Anya Pilgrim, another standout gymnast from the University of Florida, received the SEC Gymnast of the Week award for attaining the highest all-around score in the nation (39.875) during the meet. Additionally, Anya Pilgrim secured her third consecutive SEC Freshman of the Week award for achieving a collegiate-high all-around score of 39.65 in the same meet. This marks Wong’s fourth SEC Gymnast of the Week honor as she continues her journey toward greatness, securing her third consecutive all-around title of the season.

With a total of 52 career event titles, Leanne Wong is now tied for 12th among Gators, showcasing her remarkable consistency and skill.
