Even on the Pivot Podcast, she argued, saying, “We matched. I was just the first to message. As soon as I clicked (his profile) “Oh, I like him, it matched, so he had already liked my profile.” But for the Green Bay Packers, the narrative was explained differently. Interviewed by Vanity Fair for the same question Owens shared in a telephonic conversation about the meet-cute. He explained and shared, “She doesn’t like to admit it, but she messaged me first.” Despite the continued playful banter between the couple about who liked whom first, the spotlight also shone on their pandemic love story.
