Gymnastics ace, Kayla Skinner is breaking the internet with her latest update. She and her husband, who competed in the reality series American Ninja Warrior, Jonas Harmer are soon to be parents. The couple is expecting their foremost child and Skinner is already 13 weeks far along. In an Instagram story posted 15 hours ago, the Olympian shared an elaborate note describing her pregnancy experience.

As revealed in the social media update, the 26-year-old athlete deliberated an honest response to her fan’s query. The gymnast opened the floor with her first story that said, “I know you guys probably have so many questions… ask away.” Shortly after, a simple question followed that asked, “how are you feeling.” It was evident from her reply that the phase was not all rosy. “I’ve lost 11 pounds and had to get two shots + IV,” Skinner insinuated.

Therefore, the 5’1” gymnast stated, “Starting at 6 weeks I started getting really sick!” Fortunately, Skinner’s health is stable now and she is over the moon stepping into her new chapter of life. “I’m so excited to be a mom and to experience this whole process. Reportedly, the couple shall be expecting their baby Harmer around September this year. “We are so excited for this new chapter and couldn’t be more blessed….,” she wrote in the caption. Hence, the comments section overflowed with blessings and excitement.
