Savannah Schoenherr, the seasoned candidate for Florida Gators has been trying hard to change her fate in the upcoming days. The artistic gymnast saw her best time in 2019, 2020 and 2021. In those instances, she made it to the WCGA Scholastic All-American. But most of her 2023 season as a Super Senior saw Savannah off-court due to her foot injury. However, that could not deter her from being inducted into LSU for the upcoming seasons.

LSU Gymnastics’ head coach threw the weight behind the game experience of Savannah for inducting into the Tigers. So, after getting the fitness, Savannah took her practice regime on her chin. She has been found to try different techniques, including training and gear and many things. But recently, she has posted about one of her new habits. The huff-puffs reached a new high when her fans saw their favorite athlete’s new habit as a part of a social campaign.

With the change of the club, the support staff team for Savannah Schoenherr has also changed. Somehow, these changeovers have touched her inner self in a whole new way. She mentioned this change as driving her to a new height. She went on to say, “Not to mention the immense talent this team possesses that will push me to be better in every way. This is a national championship caliber team and I’m more than excited for this opportunity!”.

This might be why she embraces the #FlipPhoneFriday movement on social media. The five-time SEC Academic Honor Roll took a social media post to discuss her changes due to her new habit. As a part of this habit, she uses a flip phone instead of her regular phone on Fridays only. This has left her with ample time for important things. The deliberate reason was there in her voice, “… I want to be able to lock it in my practice while also enjoying all the things around me!”. As mentioned by her, the flip phone can gift her that luxury.

The #FlipPhoneFriday draws the attention of a larger young populace

In the Instagram post, Savannah quipped, “I saw several young people on social media starting to use flip phones…”. So, after this, the slow-burning social media campaign got the much-needed air. Several fans readily congratulated her to imbue this habit. Many others transcended to guess Savannah’s way of disconnecting social media. Savannah funnily replies to that, “…to inform everyone that I’ll be disconnecting.gtg.”

However, the fans should not forget her comeback after the injury. So following others, she has returned to using a flip phone. Eventually, this might be a better find-out for all those who are also facing the same issue. After all, Savannah also learned it from others. Her changed practice regime made her post the story, with the caption, “Lock into practice. Tune out social media.” But if it turns out to be a part of Savannah’s plan to take a break from social media, then the reaction would be something to watch out for.
