NCAA  Gymnastics teams are working very hard to secure the top spots in All Team Rankings for 2024. LSU gymnastics teams are one of them that established itself as the strongest team in the NCAA Gymnastics season 2024. It secured 3 spot in the ranking list during the NCAA Gymnastics Week 5 with the season’s best score of 198.475.

Now, LSU continues its dominance as it secured the ecstatic triumph by defeating the No. 12 Auburn on 16 February. With a score of 198.300-197.100, the LSU gymnastic team shined brightly in Pete Maravich Assembly Center. With this victory, the LSU team has raised fans’ expectations as they are now speculating about its higher spot in the rankings.

As the NCAA gymnastics LSU team has been keeping its ascendancy by exerting outstanding wins over other competitive teams, fans’ and speculators’ expectations of the team have notched up. One of the prognosticators, Drew Porche took to give good stats and a database of NCAA gymnastics team scores on his official X handle, sharing his prediction about the second spot in the ranking list in the 2024 NCAA gymnastics ranking list. “When rankings come out Monday, @LSUgym will be ranked #2. It will be their highest ranking since Week 7 of 2021.”

Since this post surfaced on the social media account, fans are looking for LSU’s next win. On February 23, LSU will compete against Florida. With their recent magnificent victory, LSU secured its eighth straight win over the visiting Tigers in the PMAC. In the NCAA 2024 season, they scored 198.300, which stood as the second-highest score of the season. This marked the team’s third time achieving a score of 198 or higher this year.

Spectacular victory over Georgia

With the victory over No. 19 Georgia in Athens on 9th February, Tigers highlighted its high potential for a national championship, holding to the No. 3 spot in the week 5 national polls. During the six weeks of the NCAA gymnastics competition, the team exhibited its top-notch dominance by scoring the highest points in the country and became one of just six teams this year to break the 198-point barrier.

LSU’s win against Georgia raised their team average to 197.596, securing their place in the top five nationally. They excelled across all events, be it bars, vault, beam, or floor. Overall, LSU’s consistent performance has solidified their position as a formidable contender this season.
