“Never Passing Me in Height”: Grateful 4′8″ Simone Biles Has a Unique Way of Wishing Her Friend

Ace gymnast Simone Biles never shies away from going above and beyond for her dear ones. From cheering for her acquaintances for their accomplishments to sending warm birthday wishes their way, the gymnast got everything covered. On a similar note, the Olympian once again took all the brownie points through her heartwarming birthday message for her close friend.

Recently, Biles took to her social media handle to share a heartfelt encomium for the birthday girl. Interestingly, the gymnast not only wished her friend on her special occasion, but she also drew parallels between their stature.

On 21st May, Biles took to her Instagram story to wish her close-knit friend, Avery, on her birthday. Interestingly, the still that Biles posted is a snap from her destination wedding. In the post, while the Olympian donned the white Galia Lahav attire, Avery wore a satin rose-gold bridesmaid’s gown.

Captioning the post, the gymnast first wished her friend a happy birthday and then expressed her gratitude toward Avery as she also stands 4’8’’, the same height as Simone Biles. “Love you so much. Thank you for always keeping me level-headed…& never passing me in height”, added Mrs. Owens.

Nonetheless, in the next story, Biles shared another still of herself with her girl gang and tagged the birthday girl in the caption, and penned, “Love you so much”.

Though Biles expressed her elation about sharing the same height as Avery, she was often spotted taking a dig at her own stature.

Biles hilariously flaunted her height struggles

In February 2023, Biles shared a short clip of herself on her Instagram story. In the video, the gymnastics G.O.A.T was sitting on an airplane seat and struggled to touch her feet on the floor. She wrote in amusement, “Short people probs”. However, seated next to her, Jonathan Owens came to her rescue and helped her put her legs down.

Interestingly, Owens’ adorable intervention was praised by many, as Biles quipped, “I know tall people hate me”. Though she made an unintentional joke by comparing hers and Owens’ height, she expressed her gratitude to Avery for sharing the same feature as hers.
