Celebrities around the world are flooding the internet with creative spooky season outfits and looks.  Adding to the buzz this year, hot new couple Simone Biles and her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens have jumped on the holiday trend.

However, amid Owens’ hectic NFL season with the Green Bay Packers and Biles by his side as a support system, Though Simone has her reservations about insensitive costumes, the pair marked this year’s Halloween by donning coordinating low-effort outfits and celebrating together.

Recently, the 26-year-old Biles shared an update revealing her and her husband’s matching outfits. Dressed in a metallic purple crop top-skirt with a cheetah print coat. She finished off her look with a black hat and thigh-high leather boots, twinning her husband.

Jonathan Owens turned heads in the club dressed in a “P*mp Daddy” costume, sporting a long black velvet jacket with cheetah print details on the edges of its sleeves and collar. He accessorized the fit with a huge silver “$” sign chain, and a black hat, and finished off the look holding a black cane.

In another post, Biles humorously noted, “only thing spooky about the night was the tequila shots.” The generic costume idea may sound basic, but the duo sure pulled it off in style! They lived up to the kitschyness, giving off ironic fashion vibes.

Last year, Simone dressed in a cow-print bikini outfit, giving into the ironic internet trend started by Doja Cat. However, she also raised her voice against a harmful Halloween costume trend of that time.

The Olympic gold medalist’s ironic and kitschy ideas when it comes to Halloween costumes reflect her harmless and silly sense of humor. Simone has always stood as a wholesome yet fearless athlete, always standing up for what’s right. So, no wonder she spoke against the Jeffrey Dahmer Halloween trend in 2022.

Biles’ tweet caught a lot of attention on Twitter (Now, X). She wrote, “im just gon go head and say it, put the jeffrey dahmer costumes back in the closet. we ain’t having it!!!!!!”  Simone Biles urged folks to stop jumping on the desensitized trend. Because of the outcry led by people who shared the same thoughts as Biles, many retailers and online marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay, banned Dahmer outfit sales.
