After being in fantasyland for a couple of months, gymnastics queen Simone Biles and NFL safety, Jonathan Owens, had to reluctantly come back to reality. The power couple probably had the most romantic last few months. With having two separate ceremonies in April and May respectively, they must have felt closer than ever. After their extravagant Cabo wedding on 5th May this year, Jonathan Owens had an exciting development in his career.

In May 2023, the NFL safety signed a contract with the Green Bay Packers and since then he has been residing in Wisconsin to prepare for the upcoming NFL season. Now, taking a hiatus from his daily grind, Owens recently put on baseball gloves and made a splash among his fandom.

The Green Bay Packers’ Defensive line shared some highlights from a baseball game on his Instagram stories. Jonathan Owens was not there to only watch baseball from the comfort of the bleachers. No, Owens wanted to get down and dirty and get in some nice shots.

He shared some clips of the baseball field and also re-shared a video of him playing on the field. Along with the video, he wrote the caption, “Just needed to get some contact”, probably missing his own sport. After all, one cannot keep a sportsman away from the field for long.

During the 2022 World Series, Biles and Owens enjoyed a sporty date as they went to see the first game. The baseball match was between Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros and the venue was the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.

The gymnast dressed up in the jersey of the Astros and gave a small speech before the start of the game, saying, “Let’s play ball”. The couple was also present on the opening day when the Houston Astros were up against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. They were supporting the Astros that day as well, as Biles appeared in white cut-off shorts and the team’s jersey.
