In her recent Snapchat story, the gymnast shared a video of herself explaining the pre-match tradition followed by over 5.5 million people in Wisconsin. In order to cheer for their home team, people in Wisconsin don green and gold shirts every Friday. “So in Green Bay every Friday there is a tradition to wear Packers’ gears. Schools do it, banks, hotels, grocery stores like everyone in green bay,” stated Biles.

Simone Biles turns into a staunch Packers fan

On 12th May, after Owens signed a contract with the Packers, Biles took to her Instagram to share an appreciation post for her husband. She captioned it, “So proud of you baby! Here’s to new beginnings!” Along with this, she also shared an Instagram story and gave a glimpse of the upcoming NFL schedule. 

As per the lineup, NFC North’s Packers’ first match is on 10th September against Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While Owens has girded up his loins for the playoffs, Biles too has pulled up her socks to cheer for her husband from the stands. With pre-match traditions already in check, the gymnast has already become a full-time Green Bay fan.
