Simone Biles is gearing up to show her dominance once more. This time, the gymnastics queen is chasing her sixth World Championship title. She touched down in the host city recently and stirred her fandom up. Her husband, Jonathan Owens, far away from his better half, couldn’t contain his excitement and wrote in a comment with a heart-eye emoji, saying, ?I can?t wait to watch you back out there?.

Before Biles could make her way to the city of Belgium, she also sat down for an exclusive interview with Olympics.com, where she opened up about her journey, fears, and return to the sport after a 2-year break. She even spoke about the ?Twisties? scare that took her out in 2021 and how she has faced her battles head-on. One moment in the interview, however, stood out, and that was when she spoke about how opposite her beloved husband the NFL safety for the Green Bay Packers was from her.

Simone Biles spills the beans on marrying her total opposite

In an interview with Olympics.com, the Olympian candidly touched upon intriguing facets of her return. Biles, who already has seven Olympic medals to her name and five world titles, has nothing much left to prove. So, what reeled her in to make the comeback? She shared how initially she did not even give the Core Hydration Classic much thought until her coach, Laurent Landi, told her she was competing. The next thing Biles knew, she was already being sent outfits for a gymnastics event. And in that way, before even realizing it, she had already secured her place in the World Championships.

She then spoke about her life and how Jonathan Owens, her husband, has contributed to this ease, which was very unlike her. She said, ?I like to plan out everything. I like to know everything. Even my husband will tell you, ?Simone, just calm down. You don’t have to pack for this, this, and this. Just go with the flow.? I’m not that type of person, but this year has kind of been like that, both professionally and in life. I’ve just tried to go along with the flow, so I enjoy the journey?. Biles and Owens married in May of this year and have captured hearts but have faced their fair share of challenges.

The challenges of being a sports couple?

Jonathan Owens signed with the Green Bay Packers in May this year and has had a stellar start. He was also selected to play on the team roster this season and has been making waves. He sets his sights on winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy as well this year. However, the commitments and hard work that go into this effort have kept him away from his lady love.

Biles has shared that Owens, busy with the NFL season, would not be able to travel for her events as he could be ?cut or fined?. This has led to periods of grueling distance for the newlyweds. Despite that, the two still manage to always cheer each other up with cute gestures, surprises, and lots of mushy comments online.
