The 18-year-old American gymnast still feels lucky to have training schedules alongside Simone Biles in Houston’s World Champions Center. She lifted her performance to a different level after employing Simone’s gymnastic inputs. Such lores of Simone Biles lately earned her some more respect.

Recently, several Team USA individuals have come forward showing their support for Simone Biles as their mentor. Emphatically, the sporting category did not matter in that discussion. 

‘different level’ sets Simone Biles apart

On March 19, the X-handle, On Her Turf aired a discussion based on several Team USA members’ personal choice of female mentors. Luminaries like Christian Coleman and Breanna Stewart participated there to speak their minds. However, in the choice of votes, Simone Biles earned many tokens as gymnast Fred Richard, diver Tyler Downs, and cyclist Hannah Roberts stood with her. The tennis legend Serena Williams also won several votes there. However, the day surely belonged to the gymnastic starlet. 

In conceding their reason for choosing Simone as the favored coach, each of those individuals narrated a different proportion. Downs had his own way of choosing Simone Biles, as he quoted “obviously” with his selection. In the meantime, Hannah added, “cause she’s just so good at everything. Like, awesome” in his confession. But the best one came from Fred Richard.

The former world all-around champion said, “She’s just, like, on a different level” defending his choice of female mentor. The revered 4x Olympic champion has created such a place among the compatriots because of her advocacy for several factors. So, athletes like Jordan Chiles and Joscelyn Roberson hold their awe fervently in front of the monumental gymnastic figure. 

The support system Biles builds 

After opting out of the Tokyo Olympics, Simone Biles used to find a suitable support system to get over her ‘twisties’ situation. Ultimately, her surroundings earned her that support. “the outpouring love & support I’ve received has made me realize I’m more than my accomplishments and gymnastics which I never truly believed before,” the thankful gymnast posted on X after that. So in building a support system for the needful, Simone has never held her up. Moreover, for the young athletes, she mentioned several lessons to look up to proceed with their challenges.

“It’s OK to kind of be shot down. Sometimes, it’s how you get up and pick yourself back up and that women are strong alone. So her quote on Simone, “You always have that one person that can change your whole life. And this my friend is you,” has just received several supporters.
