The couple, before having an elaborate ceremony in Cabo, had tied the knot in a Texas courthouse last month.

While their civil wedding was an intimate affair, their second wedding ceremony was an elaborate and lavish event with 144 guests in attendance. Simone Biles had been constantly sending out updates on her social media, hinting to her fans that the second ceremony was near. The wedding pictures created a frenzy on the internet.

Biles and Owens received many congratulations from fans all around the world. Along with the fans, the sports world sent its best wishes. Many Olympic champions congratulated the couple as well. Michael Phelps, the swimming legend with a total of 28 Olympic medals, also commented on Biles’ post. He wrote, “Congrats!!”.
