In September 2023, Margzetta Frazier made a remarkable return for her sixth year with UCLA gymnastics. Welcomed back onto the Bruins’ 2024 roster with open arms, Coach Janelle McDonald expressed her excitement, stating, “We could not be more excited to have her back and have her leadership and her experience.” Despite fracturing her foot in the first meet of the 2022 campaign, Frazier returned to UCLA as a redshirt senior in 2023. Conversations about her return for the 2024 season began midway through the previous season, as she still had her COVID-19 year of eligibility.

Despite efforts to keep her, in March 2024, the official UCLA Gymnastics X account announced Frazier’s departure with a heavy heart, noting, “We kept her as long as we could.” As she bid her final goodbye to Pauley Pavilion, the gymternet was left in tears, marking the end of her illustrious six-year career.
