Social media and school are the two most common places to get bullied in the contemporary era. Meanwhile, there are many social media campaigns regarding mental health, but that is the same place where it often gets affected.

Biles’ journey of being bullied began parallel to her gymnastics journey, at her school. She told in an interview, “Going to public school, nobody really had a body build that I did, and I was a girl, so the guys would sometimes make fun of me”. As gymnastics needs an abundance of strength and flexibility, Biles worked hard to make her body strong.

She further added, “I think in the gymnastics world, it is your body figure because you get a little bit shy about your body because you are very muscular, But we wouldn’t be able to do the things or achieve the things we did without our bodies so we’re very grateful for them.

The talks about her body escalated, and she was called out for her looks. However, Biles gave a fitting reply to her bullies and replied, “You all can judge my body all you want, but at the end of the day it’s MY body. I love it & I’m comfortable in my skin,” a truly GOAT reply.
