When it comes to Martial Arts, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan are the names that first hit one’s mind. Both legends had not only taken the sport to great heights, but also to so many hearts. While Bruce Lee introduced Martial Arts to the cinema, Jackie Chan took on the responsibility to carry on Lee’s legacy after his untimely death. Jackie Chan even moved into Bruce Lee’s deserted locker room after his demise. But it turned out to be a horror encounter.

As a preserver of Lee’s bequest, Chan was often seen remembering Lee and his influential ways that affected Chan’s life. However, Chan’s remembrance of Lee is not limited to normal instances. For Chan, some recollections of Bruce Lee are rather spooky. Let’s find out why?

Jackie Chan’s Horror Story about Bruce Lee’s deserted Locker Room

In his autobiography, “Never Grow Up”, Jackie Chan described a horror encounter at The Golden Harvest Offices. He mentioned, soon after Lee’s demise, no one dared to enter his dressing room. But, as the room was sitting empty, Chan thought, “if no one wants it, then I might as well take it”. Once he laid hold of Lee’s room, the name on the door changed from “Bruce Lee” to “Jackie Chan”.

The actor further shared that he often worked late and hence slept most of the nights in the studio. “One night, when I was asleep, I heard tapping noise outside”, he stated. Perhaps he was not sure about the source of the noise. He assumed either it was just a door creaking or just mice.

It spooked Chan a little, and as if those noises were less frightening, Chan heard a sharp “tok-tok-tok” sound. On this, he wrote, “Someone was clearly Knocking on the door”. He then pulled the door open, and to his surprise, it was just the dog barking outside.

The terrifying encounter made him believe, for once, that it was the ghost of Bruce Lee, who paid him a visit.
