“Someone Has the Balls”: 3 Fights Break Out Within 15 Seconds During a Crazy NHL Game, Making Fans Go Wild

The NHL is known for its high-intensity sports action. Players usually enter the arena with an aggressive mindset of winning the contest. However, this passion often gets translated into physical brawls between the players. Almost every NHL season has some matches which take the spotlight for the fight. Last night fans witnessed three different fights, in a single match. 

The ice hockey match between the Minnesota Wild and Philadelphia Flyers became a battle royale when three intense fights happened in 15 seconds. The players were seen going against each other and landing deadly punches. 

The sequence of fights started with two heavyweights

The first brawl saw the heavyweights of their respective teams coming against each other. Ryan Reaves and Nic Deslauries went face to face and dropped the gloves during the first half. Soon the referees had to intervene to stop things from escalating. However, they soon had to tackle another problem when Mason Shaw and Wade Allison engaged in a tough fight in the corner.

The roar from the audience rose to another level when they saw the third fight breakout, this time between Zach MacEwen and Marcus Foligno. The crazy fifteen seconds grabbed the eyes of the entire NHL community. The Facebook post by Gloves Off Hockey has been bombarded with creative and hilarious comments about the incident.

NHL fans express their emotions

The most highlighted part of the entire scenario was that after a long time, someone stood tall against Ryan Reaves. Fans acknowledged the courage and attitude shown by Nic. “About time someone has the balls to fight Reaves”, a fan wrote. With three fights happening in a single match and that too in such a short span of time, one can only imagine what must be going through the organizer’s mind. While highlighting the same fact, a fab wrote, “Commissioner’s head is exploding.”

Normally after the match, fans get to choose the best goals. However, this was one match where viewers got ample choices for their favorite fighters. “Mac & Foligno was the best”, one fan wrote. Recalling the older days of brutal brawls on the ice, another fan wrote, “Old School Hockey!!”

Those people who got to witness the crazy moment live felt like they now have an incredible story to tell everyone else. One fan flaunted it in the comment box and wrote, “I was at the game!”. Another fan who couldn’t make it to the game wrote “And I was gonna go to this damn game. Ugh!!”
