Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is one of the most famous names in the skateboarding industry. However, while the young generation knows him for many things, from a CEO to a video game character, he was popular from way back in the 80s.
He was a pro-skater, who discovered many flips and moves. At that time, no one could beat this magical skater.

In a recent interview with US Weekly, he opened up about the “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me”. This included many things, from his most embarrassing moment to his star-struck moment.
The star-struck moment for skateboarding GOAT Tony Hawk
Tony Hawk is a big star. He started with being the greatest skateboarder ever, but now he is much more than that. The business skills of Hawk, and his vision to take skateboarding to a different level, took him to new heights. However, even the stars have someone who they look up to.

Out of the 25 things he disclosed about himself, one was his star-struck moment. He said, “My most starstruck moment was meeting Muhammad Ali — and he knew my name”.
The more surprising thing for the skateboarding legend was that the boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, knew his name.
Other things to know about the Skateboarding legend
Other than his star-struck moment, Hawk shared some other things nobody knew about him. He had some advice for the new skateboarders, he said, “My advice for aspiring skateboarders is [to] keep challenging yourself and try to learn different terrains/disciplines.”
Whereas Hawk confessed, “The award or accomplishment that has meant the most to me was Thrasher’s Skater of the Year [in 1990]”.

While talking about his favorite current show, he said, “The TV show I’m loving right now is The Old Man.” Moreover, the other big thing he revealed was his most embarrassing moment. Hawk revealed, “My most embarrassing moment was losing at my own video game in front of a live audience.”

Every star has their own fan moment when they meet their inspiration and like many others, Hawk had his with the boxing legend, Muhammad Ali.
