Recently, Hawk joined legendary boxer Mike Tyson and Sebastian Joseph in a YouTube video of ‘Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson’. While conversing with them, Hawk revealed the several injuries he went through while skateboarding. What shocked Tony Hawk?

Tony Hawk couldn’t believe what Tyson said
Playing physical sports tends to have more risks of getting injured. Skateboarding and boxing both have enough chances to get an athlete injured. Moreover, when it comes to concussions, anybody would say boxers have a higher chance of getting more concussions than a skateboarder. And boxing is a combat sport which naturally is more dangerous.

However, in the case of the legendary boxer Mike Tyson, he revealed he had no concussions while boxing. He said, “Yeah, I don’t know if I had a concussion. Maybe when I fell and hit my head a couple of times from being drunk.” Indeed, this tells us about the legacy of Tyson. The way he fought through his career.

However, this confession from Tyson shocked Birdman. Hawk said, “It’s scary to think I have had more concussions than Mike Tyson. I have dozens in my life from skating.”

The list is pretty long. The first injury he remembers took two of his teeth, and that was just the beginning. Later, he injured his forehead, funny bone, thumb, fingers, knee, ankle, rib, hip, shin, and the latest femur injury he had in March 2022.
