Eight Months Later, Snowboarding Legend Shaun White Reflects Back on His Retirement Decision

Shaun White was recently invited to the Today Show, where he discussed his post-retirement life. During the winter games earlier this year, he announced his retirement and bid goodbye to his beloved sport.
Eight months later now, he talks about how exciting his life has been since. He also revealed all the new kinds of stuff he has been trying now with time on his hands.

Shaun White is a retired snowboarder. He is a five-time Olympian and a three-time Olympic gold medalist. White also holds the world record for the most X Games gold medals and most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder. While having a very successful career, he is currently working on his own brand, Whitespace.
Shaun White talks about his post-retirement life
Eight months ago, in Beijing, China, Shaun White competed in the Olympics for the final time. But retirement hasn’t stopped the legendary snowboarder from having fun sometimes. In fact, he has kept himself pretty busy.
“I’m so happy with my decision,” White said and continued, “I’m feeling really great about it.” He talks about how his brand, Whitespace, has become very popular in no time. Not to mention, the merchandise put up for sale during the Olympics, sold out in just 24 hours.

“I’m hanging with them and you know I’m still a part of them,” White added while talking about his competitors and trip to Switzerland.

Whitespace is a lifestyle brand launched earlier this year by White. Currently on a mission to build his empire, White is going all guns blazing.
White’s 16 years of Olympic snowboarding experience would be the product’s selling point. Making the products even better made White, despite his retirement, even more, excited about snowboarding.
