The 4th of July celebrations have gripped America and everyone is taking their sweet time out to spend it with their near and dear ones. Be it, family or friends, every American wants to enjoy the fervor with people they love. For Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White, it happens to be his girlfriend Nina Dobrev, and a certain actor renowned for movies like Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash among others. They happen to be vacationing in an undisclosed scenic location.

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev were seen spending their leisurely time with War Dogs fame Miles Teller, who also starred alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick in 2022, and his wife. They might’ve been up for some sort of competition among themselves as well.

How Top Gun star ended up on a vacation with Shaun White and Nina Dobrev

Shaun White recently took to his Instagram and wrote, “Team USA and Top Gun!! Happy 4th America🇺🇸!” The Top Gun remark was indicated to Teller who played Goose in the recent sequel of the original Top Gun movie. Teller’s character Goose, and a few other fighter pilots, are trained by Tom Cruise’s titular character to destroy an unsanctioned uranium enrichment plant as part of a special assignment. As per White’s post, however, he and Dobrev apparently formed Team USA.

However, what that competition was about, no matter how friendly, was not revealed. Instead, White posted a couple of pictures from their time spent together. White and Dobrev were in white clothes, whereas Teller wore a grey T-shirt with ‘USA’ written on it. The pictures indicated they were in some lush, lakeside location with mountainous hilltops nearby.

Shaun White has always loved adventures

This wasn’t the first time White shared his extroverted, adventurous side to the world. As a snowboarder and skateboarder, White has traveled to some of the most remote yet picturesque locations around the world owing to his profession. After the 36-year-old bid adieu to competitions last year post Bejing Winter Olympics, he has since traveled with his friends more frequently to places lesser people visit. Like, White, Dobrev, and other celebs like Lewis Hamilton, Jared Leto, and Aaron Paul, all went to Antarctica together and White had an ‘unreal’ time there with his friends.

Even after calling it quits from the competition, he is enjoying a life of adventures. This 4th of July celebration might’ve just been an extension of that.
