She tugged on the fan’s heartstrings, penning in her caption, “Thank you for letting me and those close to you bathe in your light, and thank for giving me the world and beyond.” Kalani Miller and  Kelly Slater have been together since 2006. And her heartfelt message touched the hearts of fans around the world. This wholesome message added to the global celebration honoring the surf king, Kelly Slater, on his special day.

Amidst the festivities of his birthday, Kelly Slater himself took to his Instagram stories to share the overwhelming amount of love he received. He even shared a reel by Raimana Van Bastolaer, a legendary big wave surfer from Tahiti, aka “Godfather of Teahupoo,” and wrote, “Thanks to all my friends around the world. It’s overwhelming to think about all the friends and connection across the globe, and birthday wishes remind me of the good fortune every year. Thanks friends and family.”
