According to Beach Grit, Carissa Moore has signed a partnership deal with the French fashion house. Despite the dash of controversy surrounding choosing the brand Dior, this new partnership complements her enduring partnership with surf brand Hurley, which remains unwavering. This revelation also comes just weeks after her surprising retirement announcement, which left the surfing community reeling.

In January 2024, Carissa Moore announced that she would be taking a break from competitive surfing after defending her Olympic title at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Despite being widely regarded as one of the greatest female surfers of all time, Moore feels it’s time to move on from competitive surfing. She shared that she intends to start a family with her husband, Luke Unterman.

She also stated that the 2024 Pipe Pro, the Tahiti Pro, and the Paris 2024 Games at Teahupo’o, Tahiti, would be the last events where she competed.
