Noah Lyles has a list of wishes for the 2024 outdoor track and field season. Previously, he claimed to win” all the medals” from the sprinting events. Later, the 100m world champion preferred to impose The Undertaker’s intro song as his entry song to suit his stepping into the racetrack. I feel this song would actually create the moment that I want,” he conceded. Now, he has pitched his other wish to make his intro more riveting.

Noah Lyles lent some characters from his childhood days to shape his dreamy intro. The overall narration left shot putter Chase Ealey laughing profusely in the audience seat.

In his latest conversation on his YouTube channel, Noah Lyles invited Chase Ealey, the 2x world champion. Talking about his dreamy intro, the 26-year-old American sprinter wished to buy Exodia, the character from the Japanese card game, Yu-Gi-Oh. As per the rules of the game, the Exodia term defines the automatic victory after combining all the pieces of the “Forbidden One” series.

Matching that, Noah argued, “Every round I am going to pull from my uniform a piece of Exodia until we get to the finals where I just whip out all four”. That means an ultimate win over the opponents. Noah Lyles named Duel Disk to solidify this victory. The apparatus claims to be a dueling equipment to defeat the opponent in the Yu-Gi-Oh battles. However, with a grin, Ealey wanted to watch such a presence from Noah Lyles. But the three-peater was in doubt about handling such a heavy arsenal with him.

So he suggested to Ealey, “I’ll do Exodia and you do Rock Lee[from Naruto]” to earn victories in the coming endeavors. The entire picture displayed Noah Lyles’ fanboy self over the characters from the Japanese manga series and card games. In the past as well, he had made his intro or movements based on such characters.

The thorough motivation from the characters

In chasing the track and field dream, Noah Lyles often found solace in the Japanese manga characters. Goku from Dragon Ball Z filled Noah with the motivation to use his inner instinct to earn victories. “In Dragon Ball Z, Goku’s final stage, or form, is Ultra Instinct. His hair turns silver/grey. I’m ready to go. I’m ready to make the team. I’m in my highest state,” he said once

So, Noah paid multiple tributes to the character by emulating the hand gesture and the hair shade while winning races. The Naruto characters also found recognition in Noah Lyles’s appearance. Noah’s nail painting took serious inspiration from those manga characters. Now, again, the sprinter has yearned for similar emulation, just before his desired endeavors.
