As of April 30, 2024, Wilson holds the indoor world record for the under-18 age group in the 400 meters, clocking in at an astonishing 45.76 seconds. He set this remarkable record at the 2024 New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston, marking his dominance in the sport.

He also boasts the eighth-fastest time in high school history for the outdoor 400 meters, with an impressive time of 45.19 seconds, achieved at the Florida Relays in March 2024. This time, he not only secured his place as the fastest in the U.S. for 2024 but also ranked sixth-fastest in the world.
