Millrose Games 2024: New York Witnesses Sold Out Show After $2 Million Tickets Sold

The Millrose Games are a pivotal indoor track and field event with a deep history spanning nearly 116 years. It was founded in 1908 by employees of the John Wanamaker Department Store. Originally, the games were held at a local armory, which moved to Madison Square Garden in 2011. Since then, it has become the ‘world’s premier indoor track and field event.’

This year, with names like Christian Coleman, Yared Nuguse, Andre De Grasse, Laura Muir, and many more, the Millrose Games 2024 promises thrilling performances from top athletes across various track and field events. And now, hours ahead of the spectacle, the first event is reported to be “sold out.”

According to Eventbrite, TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT for the 116th Millrose Games 2024. There are three types of tickets for the Millrose Games: the Armory College Prep Benefit Ticket, the USATF Foundation Hall of Fame Seating Ticket, and the Homestretch Tailgate Ticket. The Armory College Prep Benefit Ticket is priced at $800, offers a premium experience, and supports an after-school educational program. It includes prime location seats with a view of the finish line, access to meet top athletes, a reception with an open bar and food, and even a  Millrose Games gift bag.

The USATF Foundation Hall of Fame seats are priced at $400. This option provides seats close to the banked turn and the finish line and a reception featuring beverages, food, and a view of the shot put event. Lastly, the Homestretch Tailgate tickets are priced at $200, and with this, attendees can enjoy a tailgate-style reception with beer, wine, and comfort foods while viewing the action up close on the final turn. However, seating is not provided in this section. Since the venue capacity is nearly 5,000 and the ticket categories are priced at  $800, $400, and $200, the Millrose Games have sold nearly $2 million worth of tickets. What can we expect from the premier event?

The 116th Millrose Games are scheduled for Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. This prestigious indoor track and field competition will feature various events throughout the day, including relay races, mile races, pole vault, high jump, and sprint events.

Athletes from different levels, including youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and masters, will showcase their skills and compete for victory. Tickets for the event are sold out, but viewers can watch the action live on NBC from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET and on USATF.TV from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm ET.
